Hi Donna, Nice to see you last Friday (Potomac).  Was hoping you could make it back to watch Fritz work.He is just such a great dog!  He gives his all to me every time I ask.  I think the weather was perfect for labs on those days.  Windy and cold is what they love.Thursday he had “High in Trial” with a score of 195.Friday, He won 1st place in Utility and 2nd place in Open for another UDX leg.  He also won the High Combined Score for Open B/Utility on Friday.  We now have 3 UDX legs and 8 OTCH points with a win in Open and Utility.I am so glad that I found your site when I was searching for dogs and that you had Fritz. As you know, he is my first Obedience dog and to be where we are at (3 UDX legs and OTCH points) is just wonderful and shows what a great working dog he is.  Poor guy was so tired after 3 days in MD that he slept for two days when we got home.Hope everything is great for you guys...Jane and Fritz 04/17/07

Brags from our Clients:

Donna,

Great news!  In spite of the tremendous heat and humidity this weekend, Shaeley earned two legs toward her Rally Novice title!!  In addition, on both days, Fri., July 18, and Sat., July 19, Shaeley was awarded fourth place.  What a terrific girl!  Hopefully, at the end of August, I can get her Rally Novice title at Sussex, NJ.  She is also ready to start working in traditional obedience in the Novice ring.  Might even give that a whirl at Sussex also.  So, now, Shaeley has achieved her CGC, her Therapy Dog certification, and is working toward her first Rally title.  I know you are not surprised at her success based on her wonderful lineage.
Sincerely,
Cindy Toussaint  07/19/08

Hi, Donna!
Just an update on Endless Mtn Cooperstown Yankee (Liberty/Doc 5/05).

Cooper is now Endless Mtn Cooperstown Yankee, RN, CGC, and has only one leg to go on his CD! He earned his Rally Novice title in Schenectady two weeks ago, as well as the second leg on his CD. We are now looking towards Syracuse in March, with Rally Advanced and the Obedience Novice. Hopefully he will be successful and earn his CD there! Rally Advanced will be great fun - no one around here really has any experience with it, but I figure he's a smart boy - if I know what I am doing, he'll be fine.

What an adventure I've had with this boy! He's so good, and so smart. And so, independent! Certainly a thinking dog. He is truly special and really is a gift!

Hope you are all doing well, and that you are settled in your new home!

Hi,  Just an update regarding Fritz.  We were at a show on Sunday, September 19th run by the Valley Forge Kennel Club at Kimberton, PA.

Fritz placed 3rd in Open A out of 22 dogs.  There were only five dogs that even placed yesterday.  We now have our CDX!
Fritz does so well and is so willing to learn!  We are now working towards our Utility and going to do Junior Hunter this winter.  As Fritz loves to retrieve, I am sure that won't be a problem.
I am sending a couple of pictures that I took - needless to say they don't do him justice - but he still looks good.
Please let me know what you think.
I was on your site and love looking at all your dogs.  His dad, Dugan looks really good and his brother.

Hi, I just wanted to let all my dog friends know that Fritz was at a 2-day outdoor show (April 8-9) held by the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac in Frederick, MD.  I was very proud of Fritz.  Last year he received his CD in three shows.  We have been working very hard since then for our CDX title. Fritz was placed 3rd out of eleven dogs on April 8th.  It was a cloudy and rainy day.On April 9th, Fritz was the only qualifying dog out of twelve dogs and obviously came in first place.  We took home a beautiful plaque entitled;  LRCP "Keep Going" for highest scoring dog in Open A in Memory of Raymond Murphy.  Fritz's name will be the first engraved on this plaque and we will return it by March 2005 for their next show.We have one more leg for our CDX, so wish us luck.

Jane and Fritz

Hi Donna,
Hope all is well in the mountains with you, your family and the dogs. I wanted to drop you a note to tell you that our little "Keg" took winners dog at the Eastern Dog Club Show in Boston last Sunday. He is only 6 1/2 months old. By far the youngest Lab I have ever pointed. I will send you a copy of his winning picture when it comes in. He is beautiful, and so very good. The judge was Nancy Tallbott a Golden Breeder from California. She went on and on about how beautiful Keg is and how she never puts up chocolates but he is very special. It was only two points, the major was in bitches, but by the time he got to Best of Breed, he was totally wasted. He had no show dog left in him. He tried to lay down, bite my clothes and basically fool around. Too bad, it would have been fun to get the major. I got you Christmas Card yesterday. How lovely, are those your pups?

Thank you Happy Holidays!
Cheryl Curtis 12/11/03 (owner of Ch. Willcare Boradors Mastercopy), bred to our Claudia in 2003
